Well, people don't really know the difference between Trust and Believe.
When people say "I believe you" , it doesn't really mean that they trust you.
"I believe you" simply means I accept what you say and do.
While "I trust you" means I accept what you say and do and follow what you suggest, which also means having confidence in that person.
